I just had an impromptu discussion with Khaled Hassan, an Egyptian expert, on how Egypt’s policy towards Israel has shifted dramatically in the last few days. Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi (pictured) has switched from aggressive anti-Israel rhetoric to a conciliatory tone. In this video interview (see below) Hassan explores the transformation.
