I was delighted to appear as a guest on the Arts First podcast to discuss the murderous attack on Salman Rushdie and its implications for free speech. The episode was presented by Wendy Earle while the other guests were Manick Govinda, Khadija Khan and Ralph Leonard. I have great respect for Khadija, and agree with her on many things, but we have an ongoing debate about the relationship between Islam and Islamism.
